Solsure Medical Inc., was developed through collaboration of Elmira Ghannadan, Maryam Baher and Sedigheh Shekari with the aim of manufacturing, import and export of medical equipment. Elmira is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologic surgeon with an enthusiasm and background in trading in the medical field. Caring of diabetic patients lead her to the idea of monitoring certain parameters relevant to prevention of diabetic foot ulcers. Smart socks capable of monitoring parameters relevant to the incidence of foot ulcers such as temperature and pressure could have remarkable prospects in preventing foot ulcers. Hence, she set out to establish a team of motivated experts. Collaboration with Maryam Baher and Sedigheh Shekari, both accomplished experts in related fields, culminated in the developed of the initial schemes.Maryam a physician herself, has had extensive experience with more than 500 diabetic individuals and has dealt with complications occurring to these patients. Along with in depth knowledge and insight in the medical field, she had extensive research experience which was a key factor and an immense advantage for the company in its endeavor.Sedigheh, a sports science laboratory specialist, had taken care of numerous diabetic patients in regards to their exercise plans and had dealt with complications such as diabetic foot ulcers. She was extremely enthusiastic about the idea conceived by the Solsure Meidcal Inc. and joined the team. Working in a university-based science laboratory made advanced resources to her and her contribution to the Solsure Meidcal Inc. team served remarkably during the development of the initial prototypes and future refinement of the product.Solsure Medical Inc., managed to manufacture its smart sock for monitoring of parameters related to the health of feet in diabetic patients in 2021. This monitoring system uses an application that can be used on smart phones to alert the patient about the condition of the feet.Solsure Medical Inc. as a start-up company was registered in British Columbia, Canada in May the 12th, 2021.
